Is your sewing machine still unopened in its original box from three Christmases ago? Did your mother-in-law thoughtfully give you her sewing machine from 1972? Whenever you open your closet door does your sewing machine give you that look that makes you feel ridden with guilt? Well this is the class for you. Master the beast and you will feel triumphant and make your mother-in-law happy. This class will help familiarize you with your machine's basic functions. You will learn how to thread your machine, make a bobbin, learn the function of your accessory feet, learn basic stitches, and learn how to care for your machine to keep it functioning for many years to come.
What to bring:
-Your sewing machine with all its accessories IN WORKING CONDITION;
-Power cords
-Foot pedal
-Instruction manual. If you have lost the manual, you can try to retrieve if from the company's website or Google your machine name and model and manual. A number of sites offer manuals for download.
-Good quality thread (not thread from 1972 and not embroidery thread)
-Extra bobbins
-Fabric scissors
-Thread snips
-Pins
REFUND and CANCELLATION POLICY: Full refunds will be given if a session is cancelled by Tailor Tacks & Pins. Student cancellations are refunded minus a $10 processing fee when given at least two week's notice.
